Spectacular Perseid Meteor Shower 2017 - All Eyes on the Skies
The annual August Perseid meteor shower probably ranks as the all-time favorite meteor shower of the year. The peak of this spectacular meteor shower is coming in just a few days!

In 2017, the Perseids will be a little more difficult to see due to the presence of the moon, which will be three-quarters full and will rise shortly before the shower hits its peak around midnight local time. "But the good news is that the Perseids are rich in fireballs; otherwise the moon would really mess with them" says NASA meteor expert Bill Cooke.

No matter where you live worldwide, the 2017 Perseid meteor shower will probably produce the greatest number of meteors on the mornings of August 11, 12 and 13.
